You may disagree with him on a lot of issues, but you have to admire him for his guts and true old school patriotism when it comes to this issue.

1. Now, I'll have to agree.
The man has integrity. He stands firm in his beliefs. Even though I might not agree with his other positions, I certainly stand with him on this one. Thank you sir for your integrity.

2. If only people would not listen to him about economics and listen to him about Wikileaks. :(

3. A Republican who says the Iraq war was based on lies. Wow.
Yep he has integrity. I disagree with him entirely on his Austrian School of economics nonsense, but he's right on in terms of Foreign Policy and auditing the Fed.

11. Yes he is good
on civil liberties, not good on social programs though.

I think we should support him on issues where we agree. That's where bipartisanship makes sense in my opinion.

4. Even the stopped clock is correct twice a day...
Ron Paul has been consistently right on most foreign policy issues (for the wrong reasons) most of the time...

Alas...

He's vastly outnumbered by nearly all of the other members of the two-right-wings of the Corporate War Party...

"Ron Paul has it right on this..." Now lemme go look.

On edit: Hot Damn. When he gets it right he NAILS THE FUCKING JELLO TO THE WALL.

8. Wow!
That was a heroic and courageous thing to say!

We could be seeing the tipping points; Our Oligarchy crumbling before our eyes. All our institutions exposed for the corrupted sociopaths they truly are.

I want to get me some 2nd amendment solutions.

10. I've said before and I'll say it again..most of his ideas are wacky to me
but not all of them. He gets the fundamental issue here, the importance of the issue challenging democracy.

12. All I see
is someone positioning himself for another presidential bid, 1st he changes his vote on DADT, supports wikileaks and votes for the middle class only tax cut (which just like all tax cuts increases the deficit). All policies that would help him win liberal support. Don't buy any of it

13. Said it like it is
This is why Ron Paul was the only candidate I donated money to in the last presidential campaign. And I don't agree with much of his economic policy.

He makes it hip to be anti-war and to oppose the authoritarians.

15. At least the guy sticks to his guns.
I may not agree with him on most issues, but he stands firm in his beliefs and this is a good one. I have a lot more respect for him than I do a number of Dems and ALL Republicans.

16. It's sad that he is the only one in Congress so far to have the
courage to say what is right.

He was also the only Republican to stand up against the Iraq War, and to say that maybe our policies over the past 6 decades have been wrong.

I hope others have the courage to join him. But, if they do, Joe Lieberman will call for an invesigation of them under the Espionage Act, so I doubt they will.
