1. If the kid IS from Bosnia, God knows what she saw growing up there

A lot of the things she was exposed to during the war could easily have done a massive number on her mind.

Also, I hope to hell they investigated what her home life is like-there's a good chance she was violently abused if she's doing things like this.

Having her work in an animal shelter MIGHT be a good thing-but you'd have to make sure she was watched at all times.

2. Report say she was from Bugojno

There were hostilities there in 1993/1994 until the warring factions signed a peace treaty and joined together to fight the Serbs in 1995.

The girl is 12 years old and was born 4 years after the end of hostilities in her region. I suspect she just grew up with parents who consider drowning pups a normal response to an unwanted liter. She and her family probably see nothing wrong with what she did. This episode may change that but I doubt it.

I suspected she might have been abandoned by her parents and placed in an orphanage, and she's never learned about love and compassion. Apparently, she has a home, but the culture is really screwed up.

To me, pitching the pups in the river is deplorable and common sense should tell you that it's not right and you don't want the world to know that you do those kinds of things. But, are we so obsessed with getting our 15 minutes of fame that we'll do ANYTHING in front of a camera?

If Bosnia Hertgovina wasn't a mainly Moslem population it would have more fathers alive to support and teach a little ethics and marality. The crimes against humanity that happened 10 years led to this one. It would ironic if this girl/woman were brought to 'justice' allowing as the vast majority of "Christian" Serbian murderers of women and children got a pass. Kill kids -OK, kill a puppy -face international outcry for justice? Puhleeze.
