9. It's pretty easy to lose a job in the MSM

or in public life for that matter. Step out of the PC box and you're done. Sometimes it's deserved, sometimes it's not. I think this is a borderline case. I don't like piling on but I also don't like anything that resembles anti-Semitism either. Still, it's a sign of the times. He expressed himself -- he has a right to do so, but there's often a professional price for expression as well.
