6. 50,000+ troops to stay and "advise" is not a withdrawal,.
there is an increase in killing, and an end to combat operations? Hows that then?

The guest has it pegged, the military operations, call them whatever you like, as a 50K government force plus a more than 100K private corporate army are indeed an occupation, are the continuation of the Endless War. Dots along the oil pipe line,. and basses as big as Vatican City! Wake up people, this is global empire with the new corporate pirate armies spreading, and encircling the few last remaining valuable resources. And they are building it with American tax dollers, while there is little avaible for local infasturcture or social programes? Change? I dont belive we have seen any.

4. The US remaining in Iraq will not settle anything. More than
likely continue to acerbate the situation. This is not the pushover that Germany or Japan was after WW2. The US military has not been professional in handling the situation and diplomacy appears not to be working.

5. "The US Embassy in Iraq is now the size of Vatican City, there's no way they're going to be leaving"
Massive US "embassy" kingdom scheduled for completion under Obama. Permanent occupation.

7. We have 17 permanent facilities, 17 castles, in Iraq.
Do you think we are really giving up occupation?
No mention of them in the policy.
No mention at election time.
No mention now.
And even if they replaced every one of those troops with "private contractors" the occupation would remain what it is.
Unlawful.
Exploitative.
Un-American.
Nation does not equal empire.
People > corporations.
Citizens > dollars in prestige, need, and obligation.
