1. Yep! Michele Backmann chairwoman! What a wonderful idea, let
someone totally incompetent run the Tea Party Caucus in Congress!

This will be the END of the Tea Party as a national influence.

5. Oh bullshit!
Do you remember on Nov. 3, 2008 the rethuglican party was consigned to the trash heap of history? Do you remember when Sarah Palin was going to be an asterisk regarding the 2008 presidential election? Remember when teabaggers showed up at democratic townhalls and created bedlam? If you think the teabaggers are going away, man are you dreaming. Apparently you do not understand the mentality of the average American who seems to love teabaggers and will probably turn out in droves in Nov. to defeat lots of democrats. Frankly, they scare the hell out of me.

2. Wow isnt that true?
"When you ask likely voters though, the people who are excited to vote, Republicans win by 8 points, why? because Obama has greatly demoralized his base cause they're not seeing results."

I wish it werent true but it is, it is getting harder and harder to get enthusiastic about the election.

Micheele Bachmann just went ahead and made herself chair woman of the Tea Party. They don't believe in elections?

So.. anyone can just make themselves what ever they want to be in the Tea Party?

Anyone want to be chair of the Finance Committee?? You can make over 100 grand a year or ..what ever you want to pay yourself! :sarcasm:

10. appointing
Yeah, good point. Know what? I'm appointing MYSELF head of the teabaggers now.

I wish Cenk was wrong, but.... he's right. Obama's just giving us SLIGHTLY better than the shit we had before.

What we really need is a bold leader, like Bush was.
He led us in the opposite direction than we needed to go, but.... he was a LEADER.

11. This was great Cenk.
Yes. The Tea Party is a fraud. Most of them are slumming when they do their little demonstration bit.

As for Obama. I would just like to say this to him: Obama, you are a Democrat. The bankers are not your friends. They will use you and throw you away.

Please pay attention President Obama. The bankers are not your friends.

13. If Republicans win majorities
Edited on Sat Jul-17-10 08:23 AM by 90-percent
in either house, Obama will be hamstrung by impeachment hearings for either two or six years!

Obama is betraying the progressive base that believed in him and worked to get him elected. He is trying this bipartisan bullshit with Republicans that to this day only want to BREAK HIM. He has squandered his progressive mandate to instead serve the corporations. He is becoming nothing more that an articulate Bush lite.

After the 2010 Citizen's United election cycle, average voters will have lost all their representation in our own government!
