Gohmert is the gift that just keeps on giving.
Now he wants to get rid of citizenship by birth because terrorists are impregnating women, sending them to the U.S. to have babies, and then bringing them back to spend the next 30 years indoctrinating them. Talk about a long term strategy! *eyes*

2. OK, so let's say that 30 years ago, in 1980, some Nicaraguan or

some Iranian had decided to come here, have a baby and then train that baby to be a terrorist. And then that baby returned today, 30 years later. Well, if the baby was a Nicaraguan, the baby probably would not be interested in committing terrorist acts here. Rather, the baby would probably want to live here and earn a good living.

And I know lots of Iranians. They are very happy to be here and love this country. I don't think the plan would work. It's a pipe dream. Our fathers' enemies, in general, are not our enemies.

I was born in the midst of WWII in this country. Germany and Japan were our enemies at the time. They are two of our best allies now. And they were already two of our best allies by the 1970s.

This man presumes that the world in 30 years will be just like it is today. Further he assumes that a parent can teach a child to commit acts of terror when the child grows up. That is just silly. You can teach a child to commit violent acts, but you won't be able to control what the child does as an adult.

I've heard this guy on TV 2-3 times now and it amazes me he was elected to a national office. It just shows how many dumb asses (Republicans) there in Texas. What scares me is what the hell goes thru this dimwits head during the day. I heard him babbling some Obama/Nazi nonsense the other day and now this. He's about as articulate as someone that went to school about three years and he's an elected official. Shame on us!

As soon as the Repugnants got the majority in the state house they moved all the voting district to reflect GOP majorities. Why don't the Dems ever do that? We keep turning the other cheek and we keep getting slapped.
