calnurses — June 14, 2010 — Is that Flipper going Flippity Floppity? No, it's Queen Meg. She was FOR offshore drilling up until a short while ago, then she was against it when it was politically expedient. She doesn't have a degree in science, but that doesn't keep Queen Meg from vowing to repeal AB 32 the minute she's crowned queen. That's the silly little climate change law designed to protect California's environment. And she's adamantly anti-regulation. Big businesses like BP can't have any fun with regulations, can they? Regulations and oversight? Off with their heads!

Now Queen Meg is bringing her brand of royalty to Santa Barbara's teeming shores, where she goes head to head with those pesky environmentalists.

This satire brought to you by the California Nurses Association, because Meg Whitman is bad for California. She'll repeal AB 32, the Global Warming Solutions Act, and roll back RN-to-patient ratios that save lives.
