1. I noticed in the photo above she has dead eyes
I see no life in her eyes. She talks of a prayer and I wonder why she does not follow that prayer. She has no wisdom nor understanding, just intolerance and hate in her soul. She has no business to talk to others about sinning.

5. Doctors in the audience: is it natural for a woman of her age to get that kind of pupil dilation
in that kind of light?

8. John Roberts has strange eyes like that
Makes me think of an alien passing for a human being in a sci-fi movie. He gives me the creeps.

But I wouldn't be surprised if she is, by her own claimed standards.

7. So... Gay couples should stop having babies out of wedlock?

That was one himdinger of an answer.

How does gay marriage contribute to out of wedlock births?

Bizarre.

many fronts. 40% of births out of wedlock...Jesus, I had no idea it was that bad. That's long past flash point, so they'll be no return what was before.

12. Children don't have to have married parents...
to have parents that love them and give them a rich & loving life! There are plenty of children with married parents who live a life of pure hell!

13. We simply disagree on that one. You'll get to see the efficacy
your statement as we move into the future. Thankfully, I won't. The 2012 prediction may be right on target.

17. Ok, I was respecting your comment until...
You claim you won't be around after 2012?

BTW- I know plenty of people who were raised by parents that were not married who are very successful today! I also know people who have huge problems despite their parents having been married the entire time they were being raised!

It comes down to loving & caring for your kids...Parents being there for their kids when they need them. I am so sick of religion saying only heterosexual married parents provide children with good homes! I could argue religion is why we claim "marriage" is so important, it is not! Loving and paying attention to your child is what counts not some religious pact with some deity!

Well, it appears those who claim heterosexual marriage is the most important thing in the world will be voted back into power so at least you can rest on that...Until 2012 that is.

11. Funny how people like Bachmann like to broadcast how devoutly Christian they are,
but they lie like they have no concept of the truth. I thought prohibition of lying was in God's top ten commandments. I'm sure inciting violence on people the way Bachmann was during the teabagging rallies doesn't go well with God, either.

If you want to address out-of-wedlock births, you can start by addressing the economic angle of the problem. Fifty years ago, one income could support a family. Today, both spouses--if they're not divorced already--are holding at least one job each to support the family. This means less interaction between parents and children. The children are more easily influenced by people outside the family, often leading to drugs, premarital sex and crime.

If we can ever get back to where we have a middle class, where you don't need multiple incomes to sustain a family, it would be a start. But, our economic policies have created more disparity between the haves and the have-nots because we're sold on this trickle-down bullshit that will never happen.

doesn't like gays or things ancillary to a gay lifestyle. However, I believe she would agree with a lot of your post. I hope she's defeated next time around, but I now think she won't be.

That's the term that Bachmann used. What did she mean by that?
