Summary: Cenk discusses a Fox Business report on how Republicans are suggesting Wall Street give their party more money and in return, they'll fight Democratic financial reform efforts. He also shares an excellent Time Magazine piece on how the GOP is making blatant use of the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJMrlD_s93A|infamous Frank Luntz memo>. You can read more http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/markets/industries/government/street-execs-pols-earful-financial-reform/|here> and http://swampland.blogs.time.com/2010/04/13/a-gop-financial-reform-bellwether/|here>.

PS---Check out (and subscribe to) our new channel, . As the name suggests, it's all great interviews with members of Congress, Media Matters reps, notable media figures, authors, journalists, reporters, conservatives (yes, conservatives) and much more.

2. That speech is actually a gift.
Some liberal Democrats in Congress need to present a bill that insures beyond any doubt that the taxpayers will never again bail out a large financial institution -- that they will always be forced to fail if they get into trouble. Then they can call the Republicans' bluff on it. Just watch the party of No turn into the party of "let's work together on this."

Democrats can do it. We are not the party of the bail outs and we need to make that clear.
