If people in this country watched/read news like this; no infotainment, no false equivalency and real news, this country would skyrocket in myriad respects.

I didn't see two people yelling at each other to the point where you couldn't understand either of them. I didn't see eight right wingers attacking and shouting down one lone "liberal."
When I get my news I want to see patriotic banners and flags dancing across the screen. What a ripoff! :sarcasm:

4. reminds me of CNN...

circa 1990. Even then the network was moving towards Larry King-style interviews and celebrity newscasters like Wolf Blitzer...at least Headline News stayed somewhat "news" for a few years longer - but no more =(

I used to work with CBS and Dan Rather's publicist was my contact at CBS News, one of my favorites. I have a great respect for Dan Rather since he refused to report anything but legitimate news. He only did "hard" news, no celebrity divorces on his watch... :patriot: :hi:
