1. If I lived there, I'd vote for John Mellencamp in a heartbeat...so fast it would make heads spin.
An idea that I've been wondering about lately is this:

Landowners across the country should start farming. Whether landowners own an acre, 1/8 acre, 1/2 acre, 100 acres, or just a 12x12 strip in the backyard, we should go ahead and start gardens and farms everywhere...on our own.

It certainly wouldn't hurt. We could all start farming food and gardening and trading and sharing food and supplies to support each other.

Until the government stops with the standoff they got going in Congress, and starts providing jobs, we should just recreate the America we all loved to begin with right under their noses.
