http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/bonus">bo⋅nus
  /ˈboʊnəs/ Pronunciation
–noun, plural -nus⋅es.
1. something given or paid over and above what is due.
2. a sum of money granted or given to an employee, a returned soldier, etc., in addition to regular pay, usually in appreciation for work done, length of service, accumulated favors, etc.
3. something free, as an extra dividend, given by a corporation to a purchaser of its securities.
4. a premium paid for a loan, contract, etc.
5. something extra or additional given freely: Every purchaser of a pound of coffee received a box of cookies as a bonus.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- I see absolutely nothing in the definition of "bonus" that says taxpayers are supposed to have anything to do with it.......

2. Refill the pot? Surely you jest.
That might involve getting their hands dirty or something worse...... "work."

No, the wealthy always throw the "used ones" away when they get empty (or give it to the maintenance staff as a gift so they can feel good about themselves) and then just go and buy a new one.

- I mean they do have their standards......

6. It's not like one guy is getting $100 million. They'll spread it out over two or three people.

8. but they have bills
their houses, their yachts, their cars, their first class trips. i mean someone has to pay for these. why don't we?
since we're such a socialist country, doesn't it make sense for the little people to pay for the big people and their spending whims, warfare and spoils? no, wait...that's fascism...

10. good being rich
I think it's crazy how every time we turn around people in the working class are being laid off from jobs they have had for years and the rich keep getting bailed out. The saying must be true that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I just think that the government isn't doing enough to fix the economy for those who are losing their families and their possessions. Why help out to those who already have. AIG could have found something better to do with the money that they have. They don't work as hard as the the people who are losing everything.
