4. "Rein in spending" or "Rain in spending" if you're a tea bagger

rightie code for cutting programs that actually benefit middle and lower class Americans. Like cutting and/or privatizing "entitlement" programs such as social security and medicare.

Just a quick rant.....How can programs that we all have paid into through payroll tax deductions our whole working lives be considered "entitlements?" Why haven't the democrats hammered on that theme over and over and over again? Why does the democratic party leadership seem so clueless when it comes to getting their message out in a way that the majority of citizens in this country can identify with?
