People of this country should celebrate the moments which demonstrate that we are finally starting to grow up, beginning to discard the barriers that have hobbled our progress. I voted for Obama because he was the most qualified; and this old white lady was thrilled beyond words when so many voters overcame their training to vote for him in spite of his color. Such things are worthy of celebration.

all these stories were simply events or breakthroughs that have happened in the world of GLBT issues, and there's many walls to be knocked down still, thousands, so I'm wondering what you mean by throwing out the 'warning' comment, and injecting the straight comment into this - without any further explanation it is a direct attack on Gay rights and the challenge that we should not be highlighting events in Gay rights...

care to explain?
