Look I absolutely Hate this guy more than anyone out there, but let me paint you a story:

Beck really did cry on the air. The press knows that he cried. To prepare for a photoshoot in which they show him crying they put something under his eyes to make him cry. He has to take multiple shots because they have to review hundreds of proofs, so he comments that his eyes are getting used to it.

Isn't this even POSSIBLE???

Look, I don't know if he was crying for real on the air or not (seemed a bit fake to me), but let's be rational and avoid the gut reaction that I see time and time again on DU--come on we're better than the other side, we can actually be rational and be objective--yes he is doing tremendous damage to this country, yes he probably faked the tears on the air, but this video is evidence of neither.

One of the oddest things about this beck phenomenon is when I read comments after articles insisting it makes no sense that people call him hateful or dishonest...that they must just see clips out of context.
I admit I have only seen clips out of context and that is all I ever will see unless I am taken prisoner and forced to watch him. Or get paid huge money, I'd watch him for money. Odds are those things won't happen..so I will keep seeing him as a dishonest hatemonger nased on the clips and quotes.
