Yes, we do want to silence people. Let me be a bit specific here:

a) We want to silence anybody who is such a low breed of ilk that they would give no thought to yelling out "liar" during the presidents speech
b) We want to silence somebody is so ignorant that they called the President a liar on something that he was telling the truth about. You have to be an extra special kind of stupid to do that. Geez, it was in the same passage as the president talking about calling out people just like you for giving out misinformation. Thanks for such a prompt example, asshat.
c) Somebody who claims to be knowledgeable about immigration law and does not even understand what is in a Bill that has a whole chapter dedicated to it.
