2. In all honesty...
I agree 100% with what Perry says, but the method of saying it really has to go. He says in the comments that he wanted to sound like a Republican. Why? The last thing we should do is mimic them. Their method of argument is nothing but demagoguery. Why mimic that?

We have the facts on our side. We should present them forcefully, even angrily, but presenting them as a parody weakens them IMO.

3. With respect...
...the title is "Two Minutes Hate" and the subject matter is outrage at Republican atrocities. A cool and reasoned approach would have been completely inappropriate.

I'm not saying that we should debate their points, or make our points, stoically and calm. I'm just saying that they use polemic and demagoguery to whip up their base. Your points are good. Your points are valid. But mimicking the idiocy of the Republicans loses them.
