1. I 'm Glad to Recommend this Expose

of Solar Power as I'm a renewable energy advocate. However, this video while informing me about this disch technology - misses the 'so what'. So I have this solar disc(s) of 5-15 or 20 meters, what is the dividend vis a vis - how much electricity does it produce vis a vis providing the electricity it takes to operate a house, private or mega business? :shrug:

2. Hard to calculate.

You'd need to select from an array of conversion methods, steam, a stirling engine, sodium, whatever. You're going to lose power there. Then converting that heated material to electricity will lose power. Then however you plan on storing power for non-daylight hours will lose some in the conversion...

So it's pretty hard to say X sized dish will produce Y power, in general terms.


The simplicity of the design is certainly attractive.
