7. Well said.
He stands even less of a chance than McCain had against Obama.

2. I think the GOP 2012 candidate will be somebody completely different.
The GOP is going to attempt a re-boot over the next four years, and capitalize on any Democratic failures.

3. Not with Pawlenty around
they're not going to go with a Mormon retread from '08 when they have a governor who retired "properly" and appears to be a moderate because he declared Al Franken the winner of the MN senatorial race.

6. honestly I don't see a viable candidate
at the moment. Most of the ones in front of the camera are so polarizing that independents and moderate republicans would not support them. You even have one GOP congresswoman saying things like hunger can be a positive motivator! Romeny at this point is the default candidate. Good assessment by Cenk..the party of D/A's.

9. Unless the second coming aligns itself with 2012...
there's no clear leader or possible on the radar screen. I agree with Cenk. They've winnowed themselves down to the core and the core's proven to be condensed dolts!

10. Cenk made one mistake. The Happiest man in America isnt Romney...
Edited on Mon Jul-13-09 05:53 PM by mmarsh
its Barack Obama. Because Romney's bio is the same of those CEO/bankers/Wall Street elitist snobs types that middle-America loathes. Coupled with the fact hes both a mormon, and more moderate than the bible-thumpers which drives the kooks absolutely nuts. If Romney becames the candidate thhen Obama's reelection is almost assured.

11. K&R. They should save anybody they think stands half a chance till 2016.
Mittens couldn't even best John McCain. I say that they should throw Palin to the wolves... ;)
