5. Entire Sanctification

is the doctrine that justifies the self serving sense of superiority these folks cultivate. It goes back through the Holiness Movement, the early Wesleyan tradition all the way to Calvinism. It basically states that God has elevated select people to do his work on earth. Material wealth is the sign of that selection. The doctrine also purports that such people are "entirely sanctified" or no longer capable of sin. It's sort of like having a lifetimes supply of free indulgences. Hence, it's not a sin if one of the "chosen" bangs his neighbors ass or cow or whatever, but it is if you do it.
