'Confidence' - Depression-era cartoon being shown in some theaters last week

There's even a cameo by FDR, who Obama has compared himself with on some level - and it got several rounds of applause at a screening this past week ahead of 'The Sting' during 'Last Remaining Seats' show. There really was a good reason it was called 'The Depression' - and this cartoon captures some of that mood that hit the country. Depression hits at 2:20 like the black death.

(On a side note, you'll see some early Disney Oswald-Rabbit-turns-Mickey-Mouse looking characterizations in this flick.)
