First part of a great video explaining the foundations of the early era of propaganda. While propaganda use to be an art form today it is a highly effective science in which even those who are aware of it's inner workings can sometimes fail to see the propaganda present in a well constructed presentation.

4. Yes, I have studied propaganda since the 60's

and it is really very scary stuff but is very much something that should be understood today.
