9. I see you search all over DU for Ron Paul threads and post inane things
I am not much of a Ron Paul fan but calling him a homophobe and a racist are just wrong. Do some research before you spout.

11. I have seen them and have read all about his newsletters
They were published by a member of his team without his knowledge. Sure that is bad management of your campaign and that is inexcusable. But he didn't write them and don't reflect his views on race. Believe me I am not Ron Paul apologist. I think his libertarian views are immature and pretty unconventional. But Ron Paul is no homophobe or racist.

4. Well he does have a point......
Rush Limbaugh and his audience don't exactly make up the majority in this country (thankfully) not only that but what he says is very divisive. Limbaugh IS the leader of the GOP, not officially but amongst their base he is god which is good news for us.

5. 2012
In 2012 we will see President Obama be re-elected by a landslide if Palin, Jindal, Limpballs, and Joe the Plumber are still in the spotlight. It is so bizarre that the GOP has so many folks out in the media with a screw loose.

6. You know, I fully understand Paul's complete background and his major faults...
But I really wish the Democratic Party would incorporate some Libertarian values into its core makeup. Particularly a drastic overhaul of our drug laws.

12. Why does he keep pushing support for the "free market"?
The market has demonstrated that being free is a huge problem. We need the markets to be well-regulated and policed. That alone is enough to make me think this guy's perspective is bad.
