It is unfathomable that the democrats are caving to Republican demands on the stimulus. Rachel nails it, again. I just read that the dems are going to take family planning money out of the stimulus due to Republican demands.

...will need to be nipped in the bud. President Obama had already given notice that he expects nothing less than his agenda to be passed. Keep in min that Obama's popularity helped create the democratic advantage, coupled with the fact that the republican party is being shown for it's empty carcass.

Dems should be careful about their own districts. If they don't toe the Obama line, then we should look to replace the DINO's with real adults in 2010.

Oh, really? Like yesterday, when he begged Congressional Democrats to remove family planning monies from the stimulus bill as a sop to Republics who won't vote for it anyway? Is that what you mean here?

Sorry -- I'm not seeing it.

I just hope to hell that he learns how to use the big stick sooner rather than later. These yahoos will never, ever give support to his "bipartisan" initiatives. And they have nothing to lose politically -- while our side is already losing political points by their habit of caving to the whims of the friggin' minority party who got their friggin' asses whipped in the last election.

If it continues on like this, I do not expect to see us consolidate our gains in 2010.
