1. Bush Admin can't start referring to it as a civil war ...
... because they don't want to face the followup questioning: which side are we on? if we're not on either "side", then aren't our troops just in the middle?

2. they can't call it what it is...a geopolitical power grab, the civil war is sadly...
a mere by-product for them :thumbsdown:
