1. Civil unrest ------ is inevitable - oil peak will lead to unrest, water shortages
will lead to unrest, food shortages will lead to unrest - the list is unending. When we realize that some very drastic change is imminent these two laws are terrifying.

2. "Peak Oil" is a massive fraud!
Fossil Fuel is not even fossil. It's a myth that leading geologists have disproven long ago. Oil is constantly being formed by natural geological processes and it's unlimited. They want us to believe in the peak oil myth to create artificial shortages to support the price. 20 years ago, the prediction was that oil reserves would only last 20 years more. Today the answer is the same, the oil reserves will last only another 20 years.

The advertisement suggested oil comes from decayed dinosaurs and organic matter, but that isn't true. Honest geologists admit they don't know where oil comes from, but Professor Thomas Gold, an astrophysicist at Cornell University, theorized that oil comes from methane and contains heat-loving bacteria that inhabit the heated biosphere beneath the surface of the earth. en.wikipedia/org/wiki/Thomas_Gold explains Thomas Gold's theory:

"Thomas Gold achieved fame for his 1992 paper, 'The Deep Hot Biosphere' in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, which presented a controversial view of the origin of coal, oil, and gas deposits, a theory of an abiogenic petroleum origin. The theory suggests coal and crude oil deposits have their origin in natural gas flows which feed bacteria living at extreme depths under the surface of the Earth; in other words, oil and coal are produced through tectonic forces, rather than from the decomposition of fossils. . . . Recent discoveries have shown that bacteria live at depths far greater than previously believed. Whilst this does not prove Gold's theory, it certainly lends support to its arguments."<10>

If Thomas Gold's theory is correct, oil is constantly replenished, and there is a perpetual supply of oil and natural gas. Has anyone accessed the subterranean regions of the earth to evaluate Professor Gold's idea? The Russians have. That's why Russia is the second largest oil producer in the world today.

4. That clip was nauseating.
The MSM version of informing the American people. Make the truth invisible and mock those who are working to preserve the Constitution. Disgusting.

9. Oh please there's no need to worry.
Meredith Vieira asked the fox what his intentions are with regards to guarding the hen house. She said he replied that intentions are honorable so there's no need to worry people. You're just being "paranoid"

Edited on Tue Dec-02-08 04:38 PM by defendandprotect
But Meredith tried to attach "controversial" and "paranoid" to her ...

Again, how many political assassinations have we had--?

Why was Ollie North working on overturning the Constitution while also

engaged in Iran-Contra --??

Was Eisenhower "controversial" or "paranoid" --

Did Watergate happen?

Americans were never wiretapped before -- mail read --???

"Operation Northwoods"?

Project Paperclip...?

Did CIA assassinate "bait" Russians into Afghanistan-?

Did CIA/US gov work in every illegal manner to keep liberal governments out of

power post-WWII -- Operation Gladio" ...?

How about MKULTRA -- CIA atrocities -- Church Hearings --??

BCCI -- S&L swindles --??

Who's walking away with the Treasury today?

Is just a coincidence.

12. Right. Something is up.
I think they are preparing for the fallout once the Supreme Court denies to hear the case on the validity of Obama's birth certificate and the fallout of him being sworn in office. All the crazies will come out of the woodwork armed and dangerous.

They're preparing for the crush when the SCOTUS hears the case and declares Obama ineligible to hold the POTUS post.

14. Wonder if Black Friday at Walmart would fit the "other conditions"
Fein referred to in the piece.

Isn't it wonderful how we have fought in Iraq these past 7 years to afford them freedom and diplomacy? Looks like they may have to return the "favor."

17. I smell a COUP..
bush won't leave honorably, he'd rather invoke national security and impose Martial
law to prevent President Elect Obama ( unlike the twice Never elected shrub )
from taking charge and beginning to fix the reaganomic / trickel down nightmare which
will almost certainly destroy America.

But if shrub siezes power, he can insure that his rich corporate 1%ers and best friends
will have first dibs on all the former states in which to create their Baronies.

Burn in HELL Bush!

19. Do you remember that Halliburton
built holding pens in every state years ago (during this administration, of course). And, do we know how many states have Blackwater teams? Waiting for the other shoe to drop, and being afraid (as we continued to lose our Civil Rights), I wondered what was up....another 9/11?, martial law?, etc.
I find this terribly disheartening, especially since so much power has been given to our local police.
I'll breathe a sigh of relief when Obama is in and Bush is OUT.

"pacification" of a hostile urban populace.
When the clamp downs come,
watch for the media blackouts, look at Gaza today.

24. Stupid Republic fucks never even considered that there would be a Democratic president
in the WH in 2009 and they have given him that power. I've no doubt Obama will be judicious with power much more so than any GOP president and may even seek to repeal or not reauthorize it. But I have to smile at the uneasiness this no doubt causes the garden variety winger.
