I admit I'm biased to like this clip because I emailed Cenk back in September(when people on the right really started distancing themselves from and criticizing Bush harshly) and explained my 'lone gunman' idea to him. and gave me credit which was awesome. :)

Also check out these videos/articles you may have missed (as well as my polite rant at the end):

You can hear the Young Turks on your morning drive on XM 167 or 24 hours a day at www.theyoungturks.com.

1. Can't be stressed enough - Our battle has only just begun.
Neo-cons are ruthless and shameless. They have no vision for America other than to take what they can get. Cenk is the best, the *best*, at explaining all this. Would love to see him on TV a whole lot more.

2. There is a small group of Cenk haters at DU, and one thing they don't appreciate

is that he does an amazing jobs of distilling complicated issues.

He makes them accessible and easily digestible while getting rid of the extraneous and unnecessary complications. That's huge for people to win the water cooler wars, i.e. the mini-debates and discussions with co-workers (and friends and family for that matter).

Look, I LOVE Thom Hartmann and am regularly blown away by his insanely large knowledge base, which is why I listen to his show. At the same time I recognize that the majority of the country wouldn't be interested in listening to it (they'd get really bored and or confused), and he clearly only appeals to a certain population IMO.

The same could be said regarding TYT, but IMO I think they have much more mass appeal and potential, because the delivery is far less dry and they go outside of politics (and of course the passion is still there). I love both for very different reasons and I want both to expand their respective audiences (Thom has a head start but TYT is getting there). Hopefully in time some of the haters will realize that Cenk is doing something good, even if they don't appreciate his particular style and tone, etc.

12. I think your analysis is spot on and am hopeful there will be
expanding opportunities for TYT and Thom Hartmann as we move out of the dark ages.

6. They can't divorce themseleves from Bush and defend him against impeachment all at the same time.
 I'm just saying. We could probably ramrod an impeachment through quicker than the patriot act. If we can't we can tie the republican party to that anchor they're trying to cut themselves lose from. Either way we win. We would have nothing to lose and everything to gain from the simultanious impeachment of Bush/Cheney.
