Although I am still going to think about it for awhile. It just is not in these people's nature to cede power easily. Makes me think that something is going on in the background but at least it is a step in the right direction of moving forward.

seriously. i know that an outgoing president tends to have "green" staffers since anyone with experience has likely already left for new jobs, but that sounded as if it were written by a high schooler....oh wait, maybe he's writing his own stuff now. that WOULD explain it.

8. I quit watching Bush a long time ago, I get sick if I watch

The only good thing I can say is Bush didn't try to take over the government permanently. I actually feared this for a while, however I think his growing unpopularity showed that an attempt like that would be met with his capture and imprisonment in Guantanamo.

McCain had said something to the effect of African Americans celebrating "their" victory.

I'm as white as they come, and I'm certainly celebrating an American triumph.

Bush's speechwriter nailed it here.
