5. I saw him in Asheville, North Carolina.

When he sang Carolina in my mind, everyone went crazy. It's like when country western singers sing Rocky Top here in TN. (I live on the other side of the mountain in TN.) It's interesting how certain songs kind of represent certain states.

Anyway, there were 5,000 Obama/James Taylor fans out last Sunday. I didn't know there were that many people in the area, let alone them being all Obama supporters.

I wonder if Asheville, NC would make Palin's list of pro-American small towns?

Gotta say though JT has the best song. This man has a perfect pitch and I too could listen all night long to him. He is just great. I believe that it is probably his best song too. Great seeing him out on the campaign trail again (he,along with Mellencamp and Jackson Browne supported John Edwards until he dropped out).
