With only one blown radiator hose, and a Hitch Hiker that traveled over 3000 miles with me, I pulled into Anchorage on the night of May 25th, 2001. The next day I went to the Iditarod headquarters in Wasilla. There I learned that there was a kennel up the road looking for a handler. I moved to the kennel on the 29th of May.

Meanwhile, bloggers discovered the Wurzelbacher name in sled-dog race results online -- and that the musher was from Palin's part of Alaska -- and questions began flying about a possible Doug-and-Joe connection and whether Joe, who confronted Obama in front of television cameras in Ohio, was a plant.

"There's something smelly about the plumbing in this story," someone wrote on the Daily Kos.

Doug said he's never met Palin and that while his last name is a rare one, he'd never heard of Joe before the debate.

"Somewhere along the line, I got to be related to him, but I don't know him," Doug said

Remember the "media implant" a while back? Whenever it got a little tough with the media they'd call on their good old standby Guckert? He even had access to Bush. I've tried to remember the guy's name all day. This is the same deal. Implant. For sure.

Joe the plumber's quandary about Obama dashing his dreams with his tax plan are as fabricated as McCain's persona as an honorable Maverick who shuns lobbyists and fights for the middle class. Joe and John are both frauds!!!

During the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner he joked that he fired his entire campaign staff and hired Joe FAKE Plumber to replace them.

This guy makes himself out to be nothing like he actually is. He just wanted to try to put Obama's tax plan in a bad light and put a face with it.

With today's media, you're exposed quickly if you're not telling the truth. This guy's apparently such a political hack, he doesn't care if his real life story is exposed, just so long as the media are consumed with talking about him and not the current state of the economy and people associating it with McCain and the Republicans.

What's disappointing is the Toledo media are still so impressed that one of their citizens is a national celebrity that they're not exposing him for what he really is. I come to expect as much from the TV bimbos, but even the Toledo Blade acts like they're content that Joe the Plumber is such a celebrity, albeit a phony one.
