that most of the kids that voted for Obama are not like the "rest of us"...vaguely foreign. Is this just a junior tech innocently pulling a clip marked "kids in class" or a deliberate effort to push the foreign angle???

3. Nothing evil.
It happens all the time, when some intern has to grab a B-roll on the fly for a segment, they usually just grab a "kids in school" tape without previewing it.

As for the OV, I think it's fantastic that the Scholastic kid reporters got to be on television and give their take! This is proof that people who complain about kids nowadays are full of it.
