4. They had only 70 votes in the first place. I believe it was 65 at the end.
Just looking for an excuse. Election time on Cap. Hill.

Chris Matthews tells it like it is: McCain yelled Charge and the Republican retreated... Analysts will be saying tomorrow that McCain cannot lead his party let alone the nation.

11. So what the #@!$%^ is he saying?
Is he arguing that the vote came up short because not all of the remaining democrats voted for it? As if the bill is supposed to pass with zero Republicans? That logic is so twisted. And he is also saying that the document has some wording that set the tone of partisanship? What was it, a paragraph that had something mean to say about Republicans? Just unreal. :wtf:

12. Feelings first ----- Country 2nd! They said they could deliver
then they tried to stick the Democratic House with all of it. Bipartisan means both side have to share the unpleasant duties. We did and they ran.

I'm not sure this bill is what we need because it comes from the Republican Administration, but to blame their hurt feelings instead of saying they were opposed to the bill is cowardly.

13. IF democrats let them get away for blaming them
They are a bunch of spineless wimps.. Tell the democrats not
to buckle in for the party which has caused this destruction.

They wish to make McSame the great leader....

This is a plot by Rove and Reputes to let their leader McSame
step in to the rescue and save the day while blaming the
failures of the democrats giving them a election tool for the
November election..
