Representative Barney Frank responds to the Republicans' claim that it was Nancy Pelosi's speech that caused many Republican members to vote against the bailout bill stating that Republicans put feeling over country.

As the bill failed to pass the House, the DOW dropped the greatest number of points in U.S. history.

Both supporters and opposers of this bill should agree, Barney Frank is right. For Republicans to blame Pelosi's speech for their failure to produce enough votes to pass the bailout bill is ridiculous!
