Lately I have begun to read a lot of things coming from the conservative evangelicals.... THEY are not only LISTENING to poor people, they are taking it seriously, and getting organized to ACT strongly on poverty issues.

When they do, you can be sure that poor people will gladly accept the lead of these conservatives, because the Dems have abandoned us.

Then you can cry that we're so "stupid" and "ignorant" that we'll vote... ~~gasp~~ for those with our best interests at heart.

I have NOTHING in common with them either religiously or politically, but if THEY are the ones who start making inroads against poverty, you can be sure I won't hesitate.

Neither will millions of others.

Don't say you didn't know about it, because I'm telling you so that you can safely come down from your high horse and start taking this seriously.

I'm sure you want the last word, so have at it. Attack as you will.
