the Clintons. I remember when he appeared on "Murphy Brown" show with Candace Bergen. Wasn't that the end of the 80's? The story line was that he was a human being afterall and then he danced with Bergen. He was a jerk in the 80's and he is a jerk now. The best thing would be to shun all of those right-wingers so that they have no choice but to shut up. I know that thousands would still listen to them but they would be old fogey's like me not the enchanted demographic of 18-34 year olds that advertisers kill for. And being an old fogey I would never listen to a guy straight out of the 50's because I grew up in that decade and am very glad that it is gone.

People believe idiots such as Limbaugh because they rationalize it. He excuses racism, greed, willful ignorance, and hatred for his listeners. They like that; it makes them feel warm 'n fuzzy.

The rest of MSM,by and large, works diligently to keep the illusion alive for the logic impaired.

Rush is a performer. I don't think he cares about anything he rambles on about. He gets some notes and talking points from his research team in the AM and then riffs and ad libs on them all day. His stealing of the caller's joke is a perfect example. He's smoking expensive illegal Cuban cigars and popping Hydrocodone all day while he raps and then leaves the studio and thinks nary a second about anything he said afterwords. Anyone in show biz can see this (I make period clothes for film and TV)and quite a few others who just did community theatre can see it too.
