2. Cool. AP coverage.
Nice of them not to ignore the voices of dissent now that it is not unpopular to do so, unlike before the war start and the intervening years.

23. CNN kept changing their story of a 10 year old boy yawning and stretching behind de Fuhrer
at some "speech" * was 'giving' in March 2003.

It was the most enlightening event, for me, in seeing exactly how manipulated the M$M truly had become, even 5 years ago. Now it is just an Orwellian bad dream, hopefully we can stop them before our history is carved into caves as the worst Orwellian Nightmare ever known to man.

And we all know how capable they are with nightmares..

6. Not quite a "Ceaucescu" moment...
(where Ceaucescu was booed by his own supporters) but with a 23% approval rating Shrub is certainly headed in that direction.

9. Another 8 or so protesters and the cops/ss would've had their hands full
I'm glad those who spoke up did so, but can you imagine the scene if a few more had joined in? It takes bodies to remove protesters. If it had taken more than 15 seconds to haul each of them off, Bush would've soiled himself.

14. What blows me away is the fascist that is allowed to assault the third guy with impunity
Edited on Sat Jul-05-08 11:01 AM by justaregularperson
It is just as much an assault on our rights that pubs are able to get away with assaulting protesters. Since when can anyone assault with immpunity another who is peacefully using their free speech?

(you can see it in the BBC video, also see the other citizens that hit and grab them> That was a frightening crowd of fascists.

15. We "believe" in free speech? NO! It is our RIGHT!
Bush talks like we are lucky that he lets people have speech because we "believe" in it. Bullshit. It is an essential liberty and necessary to keeping tyranny at bay douchebag.

19. "we believe in freedom of speech - but we're hauling them off anyway!"
Edited on Sat Jul-05-08 02:34 PM by themartyred
and, I just love the brainwashed millionaire at the end, with his little pretty child he's carrying around, screaming at Uncle Sam... These fascists are crazy, as he clearly was so offended by these people voicing their disgust with Der Fuhrer, that he had to come over with his lil boy and shout at the protestor. He must be part of a military supply chain company... Nothing is wrong in HIS world, HIS family is doing great, HIS child is pampered, HIS wife lives comfortably - to hell with your family's laziness HE says!

I hope his boy turns out to be a huge Democratic politician, or gay (of course he'll be blaming the mother for letting him have long hair when he was little, you know they believe that shit about how you're treated is how you turn out sexually).

"We believe in free speech in the United States of America," he says, smirking, as he watches her hauled off for exercising her right to free speech.

Edited on Sat Jul-05-08 03:19 PM by nikto
...the more virulently he will be despised and reviled.

We will witness the worldwide hatred of this vile man double,
and double again, and re-double.

You think he is unpopular?

It's all relative.
I believe he is relatively popular NOW,
compared to how he will be in just a couple more years.

He will have to live the rest of his life in a cocoon in Paraguay, surrounded by
thousands of Blackwater guards.

But he'll be happy like a chimp.

25. Cheers to those who voice their desire for freedom . . . .
:applause:

I applaud those brave and caring individuals that openly expressed dissent . . . Wish there could have been more . . . enough to totally stop the speech. This time Bushy didn't get his normally hand-picked Republican audiance. May this dissent follow him wherever he goes . . .
