1. I don't get it...
...why can't these people see the obvious. As Jimmy Carter pointed out in his interview with The Guardian, having both of these folks on the ticket means combining their negatives...those that won't vote for Billary and those that won't vote for a black man. Further, Hillary doesn't fulfill the promise of 'change'...and even more important, who wants to add someone to the ticket whose only reason for wanting to be there is in case something 'happens' to Obama - now that's scary.

2. It's hard to tell what will work the best in this particular situation.

The corporate media has done such an effective job of telling "hard working" (poor) white people that they're only allowed to vote for Hillary Clinton that she may make up for Obama's manufactured (orginally manufactured, which soon became a Pavlovian reality after the coverage of the "bitter" statements, in which the media created this god-fearing white christians against the elitist black guy who wants to take their guns) shortcomings with that demographic, which is clearly key in several "battle ground" states. Judging by the results of the WV, PA, and KY primaries, this perception is strong even amongst our own. I can't imagine how strong it must be among the "moderate" Republicans and independents who could potentially swing our way.

The conventional wisdom, however, would be that combining the two combines their weaknesses.
