3. There were people who felt comfortable standing up in the white shirts...

...and those who didn't, but yes...excellent observation...everyone sitting down was NOT a member of Bush's "28% Club."

4. But frankly....

as a society we have to be ashamed that we have not managed to put him on trial yet. I'm impressed that they were able to remain silent. I'd have had a very hard time doing that. It isn't clear to me that it is a moral choice to remain silent in the face of that much evil right in front of you. It seems to me that people have a responsibility to speak up... even if they will be ridiculed and arrested, ejected, ect.

This trip didn't even PRETEND to be "official business"...no stops at local factories, nothing but stumping for McCain. Taxpayers paid 100% of the food, lodging and transportation for Bush and his entourage.

So as long as he knows that no one is going to challenge him, he's going to get away with as much as possible and take it one step further every time.

One could even attempt a citizen's arrest, just like the British Writer who tried to Arrest John Bolton. OTOH one can get shot trying. It doesn't really matter as long as you clearly show, that you do not agree.

8. Good for them...I doubt he cares but it is important that people express that objection, and

the fact that they are the faculty is awesome.
