Obama's saying people are getting the shaft and since they can't count on their government, they are turning to other social constructs, like their congregations.

The key point is that people are getting the shaft. To pretend otherwise, like Clinton and McCain are doing, is to call millions of working class Americans liars. Duh.

I mean, Obama said something which is true, but perhaps impolitic - that religion is a comfort to people who are getting the economic shaft. Was that really a mistake, Keith?

naturally, you cant expect all the idiots of the masses to get what hes actually saying all the time. he should have dumbed it down for them.
