Just got home from my first three-month check-up

Good news: So far, so good! My scar from November's surgery has healed up very nicely and there's no sign of new tumor growth. I'll be having these tests every three months for the next two years, but it was good to get this one out of the way. I've been keeping a healthy diet, exercising and trying to maintain a positive attitude. But I admit, it's a little weird knowing that four times a year I go in and there's a 50 percent chance that my cancer might return. Then again, there's a 50 percent chance that it won't.

Anyway, just had to share the news. And I'm thinking of pecwae today as she's going through her scans. Hopefully this is a good day for all of us. :hug:

I love hearing this! I feel so rotten, though, not knowing that you were going in today for scans, too. Oh, I'm so relieved for you. I can't say that you get used to these checkups, but you know we're all here for you.

And, guess what-my scans were clear today as well!! What a day for us!
