I want to get a group of people who live in different states together for a trip

Anybody know if you can get a travel agent to set up a package so that people can make arrangements through one source and keep track of payments, etc.? I want to go to Vegas in October and need to hold the hotel rooms and set up dinner, entertainment, etc.

Tips appreciated.

They did it for a group of us from MO, GA and LA....all going to Europe a few years back.

2. Oh yeah, absolutely, a good TA can do that

Try to find one that specializes in Vegas. Having worked in hospitality in that market, I know that it is unique and can present challenges (hard-to-get reservations, complicated hotel rate structures, etc.) It would be helpful to work with someone who knows the ins and outs.

Make sure you protect yourself. Read the fine print of any and all contracts, and make sure you will not be held financially responsible for any unbooked rooms, late cancellations, etc.
