...The National Education Association - the nation's largest labor union and largest professional organization - has yet to issue an endorsement in the Democratic race.

The blessing of the 3.2 million-member union is important for several reasons.

First, the NEA is huge. Second, teachers vote. Third, they come in contact every day with lots of kids. And even if the kids don't vote, their parents do.
