2 workers die in Cuming County

Two men who were reported missing from their workplace near West Point, Neb., were found dead Friday night.

The Cuming County Sheriff's Office identified the men as Alan L. Borhart, 63, of Omaha and Robert L. Holiday, 36, of Tekamah.

Authorities were notified about 9:40 p.m. that the men were missing from their job site just south of West Point.

When sheriff's deputies arrived, the employer said the men had been found inside a pump house. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Cuming County Attorney Tom Donner ordered autopsies on both men.
