Eminem Flying Some Jobless Detroit Autoworkers To Hollywood

http://www.laborradio.org/node/11121

Two hundred unemployed Detroit auto workers will be flown to Hollywood by rapper Eminem and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. The workers will have the opportunity to sit on the set of the Jimmy Kimmel show and will also attend an exclusive show put on by the star. Eminem grew up in Detroit and the city was the setting of his award winning 2002 film “8 Mile.”

3. I remember his political video before the 2004 election, it was wonderful

He is a hard line Democrat. He also gives to left leaning charities. His brother is in the armed forces. I don't remember which branch.

Would somebody look for the video? The second version included "It's our Choice".

7. Here you go, Steve
http://www.archive.org/details/Mosh

The goal of this production was to make a video that inspired young people to vote because they too often disregard it as a powerless exercise. To show them that political decisions do impact their daily lives and that voting is the most powerful act we all have to voice our opinion and effect change. And finally, to educate and reiterate the point that whether or not people want to accept it, there are forces in play that attempt to suppress the youth and minority vote.

4. Well then, if it is just PR, than thank you for providing an incredibly
important visual...people need to see others who have been forgotten...whatever drives this, people need jobs. It's not just a number, real people with real lives.
