Labor stat question
Question about how the states and federal government compiles labor statistics?

Is there a distinction made between part time and full time employment? I'm just wondering because I'm noticing a trend among the kids who are looking for summer employment. They'll get a job, but might go for weeks without even getting on the work schedule, so they're only working maybe a full day for a company every two weeks. So the kid, goes out and gets another job to supplement his salary, and now he's working two jobs, but the same thing happens in the second job and he's only working three or four days every two weeks in total. So he goes out and gets a third job.

So my question is this: Are these jobs counted as three part-time jobs? Or three jobs?
