Rep. Murtha: “Nobody Can Believe These Guys Anymore”...
U.S. Rep. John Murtha, continuing his criticism of President Bush's handling of the Iraq war, said today it would take more than Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's resignation to restore Bush's credibility in the Middle East and with the American public.

The only way Bush can show he is ready to seriously change direction and pursue a diplomatic solution to the war is if he makes "substantial" changes in his administration.

"Nobody can believe these guys anymore," Murtha, D-Johnstown, told reporters after his speech, in which he listed the reasons he believes the Bush administration has "mishandled, mischaracterized and misrepresented" the planning and management of the war.

However President Bush is sure to be pleased with the annoncement today of a CIA agent's arrest for leaking information to the press.

1. Murtha gave a great speech yesterday, and I am still hoping a transcript
of it becomes available to post.

2. I'm glad he is not too frightened to tell the truth about these liars.
The only thing I would change is I would use the actual word "liar" and I would say it on a TV interview show instead of at a speech that may or may not get TV coverage.

3. This is what you get when you use "spin" instead of policy;

I guess giving all the money to the most powerful and then going to Texas and eating Bar-B-Que and things will take care of themselves, just isn't working. Maybe the "decider" needs to fine tune it a little better!!!!:banghead: BTW; Give 'em hell, John!!!!

4. It's only a matter of time....
before the US runs out of patience with Rumsfailed. Because we know nothing is going to change in Iraq and Afghanistan. Nothing.

Rumsfailed is too old to change. He'll try.....for about 5 minutes, because he's desperate. But after lunch he'll go right back to being DON...the Dominator.

They are not able to fix the mess they created. Time to get them out.
