I know it's early, but I just want to see what people think is going to happen.

4. There is a limit
on a filibuster and unless all the problems during that time are well aired and his name pulled, it will be of no use because elections are not until Nov. There is so little time left for change!

6. Hope they do, but
he will be confirmed, anyway. The Repukes have the power, crypto-fascist pigs.

3. I don't think so, since it sounds like the committee has his number.
Ted Kennedy zeroed right in, and Wolfie even mentioned this, that Bush* has completely overstepped his authority, yet they are considering a nominee who supports the authority of the executive. I won't hold my breath, but I know that my senators aren't going to vote to confirm him. I must say one thing in his favor, however. Alito is much more polite and seems to be taking this much more seriously than the smirking, snarky Roberts.:-(

5. Yes he will
When even Lautenberg from Jersey is sitting next to Christie Whitman singing his praises, then you know he won't be filabustered. Lautenberg didn't endorse him, but gave some of the reason why he was liked.

8. FILIBUSTER!
We should even be able to get some Republicans to join in.

The have-mores really don't like being spied upon.
