Repuke quote speaks volumes about King George
From an article about Bush and Delay:

Even before DeLay's announcement that he would abdicate his leadership post, top Bush advisers tell TIME, the President's inner circle always treated DeLay as a necessary burden. He may have had an unmatched grip on the House and Washington lobbyists, but DeLay is not the kind of guy -- in background and temperament -- the President feels comfortable with. Of the former exterminator, a Republican close to the President's inner circle says, "They have always seen him as beneath them, more blue collar. He's seen as a useful servant, not someone you would want to vacation with."

Why is it that the sheep see * as someone they'd like to have a beer with???? He's patently an upper-crust, privileged, look-down-his-nose rich kid who thinks everyone else is "beneath him" (in addition, of course, to his many other traits - evil, greedy, amoral, dull, etc.). "Oh, I would never VACATION with those people!" Why can't Americans see through his bullshit????

A petty, blue collar millionaire in Bush's eyes. Oh yeah, he's a beer and BBQ in your back yard kind of guy, Bush is.

3. "A useful servant" & "beneath them"
If they thought that about the Speaker of the House, what do they think about you?

Stupid mistake. You're right, Delay was the Majority Leader of the House. I need to stop posting before thinking.

8. "You forgot Hastert" up there with "You forgot Poland". Makings of a joke
You were supposed to remember the puppet, not the puppeteer.

9. But Hastert is soooooooo "forgettable"
Bland. Evil, yes, but bland. Perhaps that's even more dangerous than someone like Delay who is flamboyantly evil.

10. How can someone so big be so invisible?
But he's a tool of Delay. He might outlive him with that low profile.

6. Majority Leader. SotH is Dennis Hastert.
Just clarifying.:hi:

...and they probabaly think the very same about Hastert too. I can just imagine what they say when he's out of the room... "the Chicago hot dog eating pig."

4. Yep. Delay did the work that kept Bush afloat, and of course
Bush doesn't value the work or Delay. Delay probably thought he had some sort of influence regardless of whether he licked Bush's ass daily.

Sorry, Delay, Bush is just the asshole we all said he was.

11. Sorry Tommy-Boy, new money don't cut it with the Bushies.
You will always be white trash to King George. And Bar probably holds her nose when you get too close to her Majesty.

12. I'd hold my nose too
But it wouldn't be for the same reason. Trash stinks, whether it's rich trash or not. Same for shit. It stinks.
