4. Didn't Edwards as a candidate put a lot of this to rest?

I thought they came up with all sorts of really good causes Edwards fought for as a trial lawyer, and it was a pretty clear demonstration of the excellent cases liberal democratic trial lawyers were fighting for.

I thought I also remembered they came up with a whole slew of Republicans who had benefited from trial lawyers, such as Delay and Santorum.

I hate that they come up with this crap every two years. Who believes this shit?

All these insane neocolonial fascists gnash their teeth and run for court at the drop of a dime ... and then complain about the ordinary citizens whose ONLY recourse is using trial law firms working on a contingency basis? Fuck 'em!

If I won the lottery, I'd offer full scholarships to folks wanting to become trial lawyers and protecting civil liberties.
