1. Today he's busy talkin' to "Verterans of Foreign Wars"...it's HARD work!
In a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Bush will talk about building democracy, the importance of strengthening Iraqi security forces and reconstruction efforts, McClellan said.

6. Here's hoping he gets lots more attendees like this one:

2. Vivian Grey:
The character Lord Beaconsfield -
"Nothing is more undignified than to make a speech. It is from the first an acknowledgement that you are under the necessity of explaining, or conciliating, or convincing or confuting; in short that you are not omnipotent, but opposed."

...O...

3. SOTUS
You forgot that Bush swill soon make his State of the Union Speech which will serve as his brand of news conference. Unfortunately, the Democrats will stand up and applaud with even greater vigor than will the Republicans.

If the Dems had any real guts, they would all either refuse to attend or walk out as soon as Bush starts to talk his bullshit.

4. I would pay some serious $$$ to see that
Can you imagine the ruckus if all the Dems walked out? Or turned their backs and crossed their arms?

It'll never happen, though. Bummer.

5. Oh god. Listening to his SOTU speeches is painful at best.
:( What an idiot. He'll grin and hunch and say "wait, let me finish" to his ear wire.

7. If he was smart, he wouldn't.
He always makes such an ass of himself and is positively painful to listen to. No doubt his handlers are aware of this and that's the reason that they're so few and far between. BTW, did you hear what he said when he spoke last week? He mentioned that he's had "so many!" The man is obviously in his own demented little world.
